How does it work?

If an attendee has a web-enabled device, they log into http://www.FanCaptions.com during game time. Or they can log into the DigitalDugout, and click on the Closed Caption icon.
If a device is needed, a fan can check out a complimentary ipod touch, and log in the same way.
During the game, a dedicated person will be listening, and entering all the information from the announcers.
This information will then feed real time to the FanCaptions screen in a scrolling closed caption format. It can be paused, resumed & adjusted to the most convenient display size.

Experiencing a baseball game is an exciting event. For the hearing impaired it can be less than satisfying if they're not getting the play by play, the announcers and the music. FanCaptions is a unique way to bring real time information to the people that need it.
